“RESILIENCE IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY” Hi! I'm Rishika, and I'm 13 years old. I live at the Good Samaritan Children's Home in Tanuku. I came to the home when I was 5, after my parents died. At first, I was really sad. I didn't know anyone and I missed my parents a lot. But the staff and the other kids were so nice to me. They helped me to feel at home and to start to heal. I love to draw and I want to be an artist when I grow up. I'm also really active and I love to play sports. I'm a bit of a troublemaker, too, but I love to make people laugh. I'm so grateful to the Good Samaritan Children's Home for giving me a home and for helping me to grow and learn. I'm so happy here and I know that I have a bright future ahead of me. I'm writing this story to share my experience with other kids who might be going through a similar situation. I want to let them know that they're not alone and that there's hope for the future.

NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS I came to the Good Samaritan Children's Home when I was 12 years old. I was looking for a better opportunity for my education, and I knew that the GSC home could provide me with that. I loved to talk, dance and sing, and I was excited to join the home's performing arts program. I also enjoyed my studies, and I was determined to do well in school. With the support of the staff and the other children at the home, I was able to achieve my goals. I graduated from high school here in GSC Home, and I was accepted to law school. I am now a lawyer, and I am grateful to the Good Samaritan Children's Home for giving me the opportunity to reach my full potential. I know that I would not be where I am today without the love and support of the home. I am sharing my story to inspire other children who may be in a similar situation. I want them to know that it is possible to overcome challenges and achieve their dreams. If you are a child who is looking for a better opportunity for your education, please know that there are organizations like the Good Samaritan Children's Home that can help you. There is hope for the future, and you can make it happen.

A PLACE OF HOPE AND HEALING. I am Amaravani, a 26-year-old mother of a baby boy. I have come a long way from where I was when I was 10 years old and came to the Good Samaritan Children's Home (GSC Home). I was brought to GSC Home by my relatives because I didn't have many resources or people to take care of me. I didn't know anyone or anything. I was scared and alone. But the people at GSC Home welcomed me with open arms. They made me feel loved and cared for. I started to feel like I belonged. I was always dreamt of having a family and a place of my own that I could call home. I always wanted to be respected and to belong. I got the respect I deserved at GSC Home. The staff at GSC Home helped me to get an education and to learn new skills. They also helped me to deal with the emotional challenges of being a child without a family. I am so grateful to the Good Samaritan Children's Home for giving me the opportunity to have a better life. I know that I would not be where I am today without the love and support of the home. I am now happily married and proud to say that I have a family of my own and a place to call home. I will always be a part of GSC Home and GSC Home will always have a special place in my heart. I am also determined to give back to GSC Home. I want to help other children who are in the same situation that I was in. I want to give them the opportunity to have a better life. I believe that everyone deserves to have a loving home and a family. I am committed to making that dream a reality for as many children as I can. I hope that my story will inspire others to help children in need. There are many children who are just like I was, who are without a family and who are struggling to survive. We can all make a difference in the lives of these children by giving them the love and support that they need.
